Part 1 — The Manor

Your first goal should be investigating the crime scene and understanding what has happened. That means finding the body that was reported, examining it, and investigating the rest of the manor.

› What do I do after finding the victim?

1. The victim was part of a group of 4 missing kids, look for more evidence
2. You’ll find the other 3 victims in and around the manor…

› How do I see in the dark?

1. You’ll need to find a light source somewhere
2. Have you tried to search the victims?
3. The victim in the Garden carries a lighter
4. Make sure to “turn on lighter” before going anywhere dark!

› What do I do after finding all victims?

1. Make sure you EXAMINE every body, the story will progress automatically
2. Recheck the rooms inside the manor, something has changed
3. You’ll find a Wisp in either the Kitchen, Gallery or Hall
4. Try to “talk to Wisp” for answers

Part 2 — The Testimony

You have found a witness, now it’s time to question him. You’ll need to gather some items and ask the right things to learn about what happened.

› How do I question the witness?

1. Try to “perform seance” to question the Wisp properly…

3. The instructions can be found in a library

› Where do I find remains?

1. You can find the remains in the Mausoleum outside
2. If the entrance is blocked, EXAMINE the things you see
3. The sculpture is missing something, did you find any lost items?

› Where do I find a picture?

1. A photograph might be hard to get, but a painting on the other hand…

3. It’s too big to take with you, so you’ll just have to perform the seance right there

1. You’re not supposed to discover the route by just trying different turns
2. Maybe a fresh perspective can help you see the solution…

Part 3 — The Confrontation

The final part is all about putting the suspect to justice!

› What do I do with the suspect?

1. You can ask the Ghost more about the suspect
2. An exorcism might be in order
3. You’ll need to learn about it first
4. Search the Private Library for the name of the demon

› Where do I perform the ritual?

1. You’ll need to find the location where the demon was summoned first
2. A summoning ritual would have required some sort of symbol…

› How do I cleanse the room?

1. You’ll need to burn some sage in the right location
2. You can find sage in the Greenhouse
3. Try “pick sage leaves” and “burn sage”

› How do I break the sigil?

1. You’ll need to use a tool that can carve in the floor
2. Have you tried to search all the victims yet?
3. The victim in the Study has a Knife
4. Try to “break sigil with knife” to destroy it

› How do I not die?

1. You’ll need to avoid being in the same room as the demon
2. Listen closely, you’ll hear the demon when he’s in the room next to you…
3. The demon is waiting for you in the Kitchen
4. You’ll need to reach the Cellar through another route
5. Have you found the hidden ladder to the Underground Passage yet?
6. It allows you to reach the Cellar via the Library on the ground floor…
7. …make sure to EXAMINE everything in the Library carefully…
